Heavy materials are priced separately
Concrete, dirt, brick, tile, shingles, stone, and other extremely heavy materials may require special pricing based on weight and trailer capacity. Heavy debris starts at $400 — final price is determined by material, weight, volume, and disposal requirements.
Additional ServicesShow prices
These fees are never applied automatically — they only apply when your specific job requires them.
All prices shown are starting prices and are intended as general estimates. Final pricing is determined after evaluating the amount and type of junk, labor required, accessibility, distance, weight, and disposal costs. Zenith City Haulers reserves the right to adjust pricing for unusually heavy, hazardous, oversized, or difficult-to-handle materials.
What goes into your quote
Volume
We price by how much room your items take in the trailer: a minimum load, a quarter, a half, or a full trailer. You see the fill line before we finish.
Weight
Heavy material is charged by the ton at the transfer station. Shingles, tile, concrete, dirt, and sand cost more per cubic yard than household goods.
Labor
Basement stairs, third-floor apartments, long carries, disassembly, and shed teardowns take crew time, so they factor into the quote.
Disposal Costs
Tipping fees plus special handling for mattresses, tires, appliances with refrigerant, and electronics are built into your number.

FAQ
Questions we get every week
What do you remove?
Almost anything non-hazardous that two people can carry: furniture, mattresses, appliances, electronics, hot tub surrounds, garage and basement clutter, construction debris, yard waste, brush, sheds, decks, playsets, office furniture, and retail fixtures.
What can't you take?
We cannot haul hazardous materials: paint thinners and solvents, asbestos or lead debris, medical and biological waste, gasoline, motor oil, car batteries, ammunition, and pressurized cylinders. Call us and we will tell you exactly where in St. Louis County to drop them.
How does pricing work?
Your quote is based on volume, weight, labor, and disposal costs. Estimates are free, we confirm the price on site before loading, and there are no hidden fuel or dump surcharges. If the load is smaller than the photos suggested, you pay less.
Do you recycle or donate anything?
Yes. Metal and appliances go to certified scrap recycling, clean wood and brush go to compost and wood facilities, and usable furniture, tools, and household goods are offered to Duluth-area charities before anything reaches the transfer station.
Are you licensed and insured?
We are fully licensed and carry general liability insurance covering your property and our crew. Certificates are available on request for property managers, realtors, and commercial accounts.
Do I need to be there during the pickup?
Not necessarily. Many customers leave items in the driveway, garage, or an unlocked area and approve the final price by phone or text after we send photos on arrival.
How fast can you schedule my job?
Most Duluth and surrounding area jobs are picked up within 24 to 72 hours, and we often have same-day openings mid-week. Larger cleanouts and shed demos are typically booked a few days out.
